Who We Are

The Nigerian Christian Corpers’ Fellowship Alumni International (NCCFAI)

has always embraced inclusivity and an inter-denominational spirit. Our journey began on May 5th, 2007, in Edinburgh, Scotland, with a shared desire to unite Nigerian Christians who have taken part in the Nigerian Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.

Founded upon the core principles of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, unity, and service, NCCFAI is dedicated to reinforcing the connections forged during the NYSC program and fostering a supportive environment for personal and spiritual growth.

Our Vision Statement

“To be a thriving and interdenominational community of faithful Christian alumni, committed to sharing the love of God and spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ within our community. while actively serving as a beacon of hope, love, and support to each other, current fellowship members in Nigeria, and the world at large.”

Mission Statement:

NCCFAI is committed to nurturing a strong and interconnected community of Nigerian Christian alumni who have completed their service in the Nigerian Youth Service Corps (NYSC). We aim to advance the values and mission of our Nigerian Christian Corpers’ Fellowship (NCCF) and every other Christian groups while providing a supportive environment for personal and spiritual growth. Our goal is to encourage members to continue their spiritual journey, support one another, and contribute positively to society.

We hope to achieve the above through:

Spiritual Growth:

NCCFAI fosters continuous spiritual growth by offering opportunities for worship, prayer, and in-depth biblical study. We encourage a deep and personal relationship with Christ, helping members continue their spiritual journeys beyond the NYSC experience.

Support and Mentorship:

We provide guidance, mentorship, and emotional support to current NCCF members, assisting them in navigating their faith journey, pursuits, and life challenges.

Community Engagement:

NCCFAI actively engages with the NCCF, its leadership, and current members through participation in events, reunions, and service projects, thereby strengthening the fellowship's impact nationwide.

Financial Support:

We contribute financially to the fellowship's initiatives, ensuring the sustainability of its programmes, mission trips, and outreach efforts, and assisting in fundraising when needed.

Networking and Connections:

NCCFAI focuses on building and maintaining a robust membership network, facilitating connections, career opportunities, and lifelong friendships among alumni. We foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie.

Promoting Christian Values:

We are committed to living out Christian values in our daily lives, setting a positive example for others, and actively spreading God's love, grace, and truth in the world.

Prayer and Intercession:

We continuously pray for the fellowship, its members, and the world, seeking God's guidance, wisdom, and blessings on our collective efforts.

Inter-Denominational Unity:

NCCFAI celebrates the rich diversity of Christian denominations within our membership. We promote unity, tolerance, and respect for various Christian traditions, emphasising our common faith in Jesus Christ.

Service to Society:

NCCFAI is dedicated to community service and social responsibility. We organise and participate in initiatives that address societal needs, promoting a culture of giving back to the communities where we live and work.

Our Beliefs

The Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, the only basis for our faith and fellowship.
The One True God exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The fall and deprivation of mankind necessitated redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Salvation is through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.
The Baptism and Works of the Holy Spirit.
Restitution for past wrongs, where possible.
The Final Judgement and the New Heaven and Earth.
